We have been estatic about the response that our temporary tattoos have been recieving and could be happier!  But kelly recently commented about maybe transforming a few more of my original designs into tattoo.  So i said why not!  Check out the new tattoos below!

Fall has traditionally been a time of subtle changes for benny and I and this year we wanted to reflex that more than ever in bennykelly.  So instead of working on a whole new look for fall/winter we have been planning on keeping with similar style basics, but taking those basics and tweaking them in the small surprising ways!

You will be seeing a lot of cowl necks, varying hem, stenciled leather and bold textures, which can all easily be layered and worn from early fall, into winter and even on into spring.  We will be keeping the colors muted and more natural, as we will be more heavily favoring cool tones over warm ones.  As for our stencil designs, benny will be bringing us more navajo and nature inspired patterns as well as sweet new sea critter stencils!

Benny and I are beyond excited to introduce the newest bennykelly accessory, temporary tattoos!!  We have taken benny's amazing stencil designs and transformed them into temporary tattoos, using this awesome paper called waterslide.  It is just like when you were a kid...each tattoo is easily applied with just the use of water and is safe for all skin types. the design will last just a couple of days, eventually peeling off, and can be removed by warm water and soap.  Bring out your inner kid today and shop our original tattoos designs on our etsy store!!

ants reinvade!

We are super excited to announce that we are bringing back our "picnic" design of little ants EVERYWHERE!  But this time we are making it a stencil and thus available in even more colors and the ability to go on more surfaces/fabrics.  You are going to be wearing a lot of little friends come fall, as we work on new styles for the girls and boys!!

Kelly and I were recently approached by a friend engrossed in this awesome new site 5-Second Films to create some shirts for them. Well we love promoting independent start-ups whether they be bands or hilarious films, so we just could not say no!  Here is a quick peek at the first tees we have finished for them. Enjoy!!

a little bit about 5sf....

5-Second Films was created by Brian "Boss Man" Firenzi in the Spring of 2005, after being disappointed by so many 5,400-second films.  The rules are simple: 2 seconds of beginning titles, 5 seconds of film, 1 second of end titles.  If you take umbrage with these 5sfs running at an actual length of 8 seconds, we can only assume you're no fun at dinner parties.

In our attemps to make bennkelly as sustainable as possible, we have greened up our business cards!!  Our business cards are where we see some of our greatest paper usage, so we asked ourselves why not do recycled?  Well, when we looked into it we could not find affordable cardstock made from 100% recycled materials.  So we took a hint from our own tutorials and have revamped our business cards using handmade 100% recycled cardstock!

But whats even better is that every card we make is not only handmade but hand stenciled with one of our original designs making each card a one of a kind art piece!  So if you get your hands on one don't let it go!!
